Kicking off the holiday season, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville held its annual Houses of Hope luncheon at the Music City Center.
Guests were welcomed by Reverend Joanne Horton Harris who closed on her Habitat home in 1995 and paid it off in full in 2014. This year’s event, chaired by Scott McWilliams, featured Habitat homeowner Arjeta Statovci, a video story of Habitat homeowners Amanda Osborne and Ashlee Walker Pride’s journey through the Habitat program with Drew and Jonathan Scott, music by EMI recording Artist Eric Paslay, and a look to the future with the 2019 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project coming to Nashville in October.
With a record attendance of 530 people, the event raised more than $235,000 in support of affordable homeownership.
