James Beard Foundation's Taste America event will bring together chefs and diners from 20 cities around the country on Sunday, October 18 for a virtual communal dinner in support of the local restaurant community.
Through its Open for Good campaign, the James Beard Foundation is working to help the independent restaurant industry survive the COVID-19 pandemic and come back stronger, more equitable, and more resilient than ever before.
In Nashville, chefs Julia Sullivan and Caitlyn Cox of Henrietta Red will prepare a three-course meal that can be picked up and enjoyed from the comfort of your home. The Taste America meal kit is $150 and includes three courses prepared by Sullivan and Cox, dough wine and Rabbit Hole whiskey, and access to cooking demos and James Beard's national broadcast featuring a lineup of notable chefs and special guests.
Henrietta Red's Taste America meal kit will be available for pick-up on the afternoon of Sunday, October 18 at 1200 4th Ave N. See below for the full menu and visit jamesbeard.org to purchase tickets.
