Shake Shack® will open the doors of its first Tennessee Shack on Thursday, August 23, at 11 a.m. in Nashville's premier retail destination at the Hill Center Green Hills development.
Shake Shack is a critically-acclaimed, modern-day 'roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, and griddled flat-top dogs (no hormones or antibioticsever), fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle-cut fries, and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.
In addition to the Shack classics, the Green Hills shack will be will be spinning up a unique selection of frozen custard concretes in collaboration with local purveyors:
• Pie Oh My: Vanilla custard with a slice of Little Mosko's seasonal pie
• Caramel Bourbon Twist: Vanilla custard with Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co. Bourbon Nib Brittle, chocolate sprinkles, and salted caramel sauce
• Music City Mallow: Chocolate custard with marshmallow fluff, speculoos cookie crumbles, and salted caramel sauce
The menu will also feature a Nashville-exclusive burger in collaboration with local favorite, Peg Leg Porker. The Crackle Shack Cheeseburger features a cheeseburger topped with Peg Leg Porker's seasoned cracklins and ShackSauce.
Guests can wash their burgers down with local brews from Yazoo Brewing Company, Jackalope Brewing Company, The Black Abbey Brewing Company, and TailGate Beer, plus Shake Shack's exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister® Ale. Wine lovers can enjoy a glass of Shack RedTM and Shack WhiteTM wine from the Gotham Project.
As part of Shake Shack's mission to Stand For Something Good®, The Green Hills Shack will donate all proceeds from its soft opening, as well as 5% of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete throughout the life of the Shack, to Room in the Inn, an organization that provides programs emphasizing human development and recovery through education, self-help and work, centered in community and long term support for those who call the streets of Nashville home.
Green Hills' new 4,000-square-foot Shack will feature a large outdoor patio and seating for more than 200 guests. In keeping with Shake Shack's commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, the Green Hills Shack's tabletops will be made by CounterEvolution, using reclaimed bowling alley lanes; chairs will be designed by Uhuru, using sustainable materials; and booths will be crafted by Staach, using lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Plus, the first 100 people in line when doors open at 11 a.m. will receive a make-your-own Amelia's Flower Truck bouquet on the house!
