War Memorial Auditorium
November 29, 2014
Sue and Jason met at Miller Union, a restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. In a truly romantic gesture, Jason proposed two years later at the same spot and on the same date as the couple's first date.
For their wedding, Sue and Jason wanted to blend a traditional Indian ceremony with their more contemporary style. 'We also wanted our guests to enjoy Nashville and all it has to offer,” the bride adds. The couple wanted a special venue that would allow their guests a unique view of Nashville, and the War Memorial Auditorium did just
the trick.
The venue was completely transformed with décor in rich shades of red, gold, and, blue floral arrangements, and a dazzling chandelier. The groom and his groomsmen wore traditional Indian outfits with cowboy boots for a
touch of Texas flare, and Sue's bridesmaids sported beautiful blue saris from India.
