Jessica and Eric's wedding day is proof that love existsand prevailseven amid heartache. The pair, who met at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, decided to marry soon after Jessica's father was diagnosed with ALS. 'It was untraditional and immensely purposeful,” she shares.
After hearing of the couple's heartfelt story, a host of local vendors gifted Jessica and Eric with the wedding of their dreams. On a crisp November morning just two months after his diagnosis, Jessica's father was able to walk her down the aisle, a moment she'll cherish forever.
'It was in his arms that I grew to be the woman I am, and there was nothing more important than those arms giving me away to the man that I would spend my life with,” the bride says. 'Though our hearts were breaking, we couldn't deny the significance of marriage and family that day.”
