Country Music Hall
of Fame and Museum
November 14, 2015
After closing on a new home, Ford surprised April by proposing when the pair picked up their house keys. Friends and family then joined to congratulate the newly engaged couple.
'It was the most perfect night,” the bride shares. 'Private when it needed to be, but celebrated by people we love the most.”
April, an interior designer, had a specific vision for her big day. 'I knew I wanted mainly black and white and nothing too traditional or southern,” she says. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which April deemed 'dark and moody,” was the perfect venue to bring the bride's ideas to life. Standing chandeliers, intricate drapery, and floor-to-ceiling fixtures added drama to the space, too.
Music was another important aspect of April and Ford's wedding day. Artists Josh Farro and Ian Keaggy set the tone for the ceremony with soft, sultry melodies, while Party on the Moon got the newlyweds (and their guests) dancing until 2 a.m.
