No question, my parents. They made me who I am today. They’ve always made sure that I presented myself well and I was always well-educated— not just with books, but socially. And my wife, who accepts me and encourages me to be who I am.

I’m proud of creating this restaurant from nothing and adding authentic Cuban representation to the food scene by bringing the food that I grew up eating in my house to Nashville.
