What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Partnering with my husband, Nick, to open Mangia Nashville, an Italian restaurant, which offers gluten-free versions of everything on our menus for people - like me - who have Celiac disease or gluten allergies. Also, working tirelessly to keep our family-owned business afloat during the shutdown, then reemerge stronger, wiser, and even more appreciative of our Nashville community.
How would friends describe you in three words?
Loving, loyal, and loud.
What are a few of your favorite places in Nashville?
My most favorite spot in Nashville is dining with family and friends at the Mangia Saturday Night Feast. Watching guests eat, sing, dance, laugh, and celebrate life never gets old!
Tell us about your routine/tips for looking and feeling great inside and/or out (salon, spa, fitness, wellness, well-being, etc.)
Yoga, lots of water and green tea, intermittent fasting, gluten-free Mediterranean diet, exfoliate, moisturize, and protect skin with sunscreen, and take long walks with my toy poodle, Lord “Buddy” Pistachio.
Describe your perfect day.
An interesting read on an autumn beach day, then sunset dinner prepared by Nick, my chef-husband, followed by family game night with our son, Nicholas.
Do you have a favorite quote you live by that you would like to share (and why)?
I have many, but “know thyself” is fundamental.
What is your definition of beauty—as it pertains to yourself and/or others?
True beauty is not seen or heard, but felt.
