The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee held its annual The Power of the Purse auction and luncheon on April 12 at Music City Center. The event benefited The Women’s Fund at The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Susan Sarich, founder of SusieCakes, was keynote speaker.
One of Middle Tennessee’s most significant celebrations of women’s philanthropy, The Power of the Purse event championed female entrepreneurs. Guests arrived early to bid on the array of colorful and choice purses contributed to the silent auction.
Keynote speaker Sarich talked about her entrepreneurial story and concluded with the announcement that the twenty-seventh location of SusieCakes is scheduled to open at The Mall at Green Hills sometime in the near future.
