On November 11, Ryan Seacrest visited Seacrest Studios at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt for the first time since the Pandemic.
During his visit, Ryan had one-on-one time with patients and their families to answer questions about pursuing careers in TV and Radio. They played games and did TikTok challenges together. There was also an appearance by Squid, the hospital dog – a Black Lab that showed Ryan his tricks that help uplift the spirits of patients during their stay.
Seacrest Studios is designed to contribute positively to the healing process for children and their families while in the hospital and bring an uplifting spirit to each facility. The program grants children with hands on experiments with radio and television broadcasting in these media centers, allowing them to tap into their creativity that helps them thrive. Seacrest studios opened at Vanderbilt in March of 2018.
