On Wednesday, February 5, Nashville Lifestyles held their 16th annual Music in the City at Acme Feed & Seed.
The evening was headlined by country star Jon Pardi and featured intimate performances by Pardi, Jillian Jacqueline, and Ryan Hurd. While the sold-out crowd sang along to familiar tunes by all three artists, they imbibed on signature cocktails provided by Don Julio and Crown Royal.
Before the evening's performances began, CMT's Cody Alan graced the stage to thank all the generous sponsors as well as the audience for coming out despite the less than ideal weather. Jillian Jacqueline kicked off the night with a set of original songs followed by Ryan Hurd who performed crowd favorites like "To a T".

After a brief intermission, Jon Pardi took to the stage to answer a few questions from Nashville Lifestyles' Editor Alison Abbey Hudak, followed by a live auction where Pardi enticed the crowd to bid on a signed signature cowboy hat. The bidding began at $500 and finally sold to a member of the audience for $1,700! The money from the auction in addition to a portion of the evening's ticket sales went to benefit Make-A-Wish® Middle Tennessee and will help grant wishes to children with critical illnesses.
This year's Music in the City was sponsored by Gulf County Tourist Development Council, CMT, Dr. Hatef M.D., City National Bank, Crown Royal, and Don Julio.
