The 2018 Ballet Ballthe largest fundraiser for the Nashville Balletmarked the ballet's 32th anniversary season. Co-chairs Mrs. Richard Duncan McRae, III and Mrs. Grant Thomas Smothers orchestrated a grand affair, bringing together over 600 of the city's most prominent philanthropists and patrons of the arts for an elaborate black-tie affair.
The evening included a glamorous cocktail hour, a gourmet seated dinner, and an exclusive gala performance by Nashville Ballet accompanied by special guest music artists. Ball guests then took the floor to dance the night away to some great music of Johnny Cash performed by Ana Cristina Cash, John Carter Cash, Sheryl Crow, Devin Dawson, Ronnie Dunn, Jamey Johnson, and Bill Miller.
