A cocktail party was held to celebrate the grand opening of Gaylord Opryland Resort's new exhibit John Wayne: The Genuine Article. The six room exhibit is the largest collection of John Wayne memorabilia ever released to the public with over 300 items including never-before-seen items like John Wayne's Academy Award, Congressional Gold Medal and Medal of Freedom, home movies, behind the scenes footage from The Big Trail, iconic film costumes and more.
The exhibit, which debuts as part of Gaylord Opryland's A Country Christmas celebration runs through January 1, 2018.
