The annual HopeKids Charity Golf Classic was recently hosted at The Grove, a private 1100-acre golf community.
The event raised $100,000 to serve families who have a child with cancer or other life-threatening medical conditions and expand the free events offered by HopeKids Middle Tennessee.
Special guest and former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker welcomed golfers and engaged with HopeKids families on the course. HopeKids parents Boomer Lahrman and Maria Schoonover each shared their own family’s story with golfers and the invaluable impact HopeKids has when connecting families to others on a similar journey.
“We are incredibly grateful our company is involved as the tournament host to support HopeKids," says Ben Jenkins, a HopeKids state board member and Vice President of Grove Realty. "It’s humbling to see how this event has grown in just three years to impact the lives of so many families with children fighting tough battles in their everyday lives.”
