On Thursday, November 17, at the Thompson Nashville, Nashville Lifestyles hosted the annual Friends+Giving celebration with Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey, benefiting four local charity partners. It was a wonderful evening, gathering with friends to eat, drink and give back!
Attendees enjoyed spectacular silent auction packages, delicious hors d'oeuvres like L.A. Jackson Burger Sliders, Champagne Glitter Chicken Bites, Marsh House Shrimp Toast, and more, plus Woodford Reserve specialty cocktails created by local mixologists including Paul Morrison from L.A. Jackson, Amy Van Buren from Luke's 32 Bridge, Keenan Jeffers from The Dutch, and Paige Kammes, Woodford Reserve Brand Ambassador.
Proceeds from the event benefited Make a Wish Middle Tennessee, The Nashville Food Project, Giving Kitchen, and Nashville Launch Pad. Each food and beverage station had a silent auction package for guests to bid on to raise even more funds for the non-profits. Packages included hotel stays at Thompson Nashville, dinner with wine pairings at Marsh House, ICE! At Gaylord Opryland tickets, Tennessee Titans tickets, Woodford Reserve and Jack Daniel's Distillery tours, special Woodford Reserve bottles, limited-edition barware, and more.
While guests mixed and mingled, Nashville singer-songwriter Will Pellerin along with Jordan DePaul, a.k.a. LVRBOY, provided the live music. Nashville Smile Bar brought the photo booth fun and Hive & Colony showed off their beautiful custom men's suiting, informing guests about their bespoke process. Attendees were greeted by the brand new BMW iXupon entering the hotel and the BMW of Nashville team was on hand signing guests up for a chance to win a session at the BMW M School Driving Experience.
This year, there was also an opportunity for attendees to take part in a very special VIP Woodford Reserve tasting led by the Woodford Reserve Brand Ambassador, Paige Kammes. And no one left empty handed, thanks to our friends at UBS. In the spirit of the giving season, the local UBS team made sure each guest received a goody bag filled with items that benefited a variety of non-profits.
Thank you to our sponsors, UBS, Woodford Reserve, Thompson Nashville, BMW of Nashville, and Hive & Colony.
