It was a colorful night at the Parthenon as Centennial Park Conservancy welcomed a fashionable crowd to Bright Night, an artistic and immersive new fundraiser celebrating art, fashion, and food.
The Parthenon was lit up in bright pink lights as guests entered through a glowing tunnel of light into the East Gallery, where Nashville-based artist Duncan McDaniel’s colorful Fountain exhibit was on display. Guests enjoyed Champagne and popcorn as they explored the gallery and a series of immersive experiences, including a sound puddle, color baths, and Thermochromic VFX wall. Upstairs, the artistic and colorful delights continued with culinary carts from Juniper Green serving up whimsical and clever hors d’oeuvres and over-the-top cocktail presentations from celebrity mixologist Rob Floyd. The highlight of the night was a surprise performance by two aerialists in front of the forty-two Athena statue, capping off a beautiful, artistic, and inspiring evening celebrating and supporting Centennial Park Conservancy.
