On Tuesday, January 9, friends of Dr. Agenia Clark celebrated her achievement as the new President of Fisk University.
The gathering took place on Fisk University's Founder’s Day (January 9, 1866), the prestigious historically black university and home to famed Fisk Jubilee Singers. The event was hosted by Janet and Jim Ayers, as well as Deborah Roberts and Al Roker. Guests enjoyed a surprise performance by the Jubilee and appreciated art on loan from the Fisk University Galleries. Dr. Clark is Fisk University’s third female head and the eighteenth president of the 158 year old institution.
