Earnest Bar & Hideaway was runner up in the competition with their Hot Chicken and Mac bite.
On Saturday, October 22, Nashville Lifestyles hosted its annual Brunch & Bloodys event at the newly opened Hotel Fraye.
Between the seventh floor event space and the stunning outdoor rooftop, attendees sampled delicious brunch bites from some of Nashville's best brunch spots while mixing and mingling, enjoying Bloody Marys, and listening to DJ tunes. Guests also enjoyed touring the beautiful Fallyn Apartments that neighbor Hotel Fraye. Throughout the event, guests turned in their ballots and voted for their favorite brunch dish. Sambuca was crowned this year's winner with their Shrimp & Grits dish and Earnest Bar & Hideaway came in second place as runner up with their Hot Chicken & Mac.
WINNER: Sambuca
RUNNER UP: Earnest Bar & Hideaway
Participating restaurants included Sambuca, Gathre, Makeready L&L, The Mockingbird, Sunda New Asian, Sixty Vines, Stompin' Grounds, Zeppelin, Another Broken Egg Cafe, Earnest Bar & Hideaway, and The Tennessee Cobbler Company.
In addition to sampling brunch bites from each restaurant, attendees were also able to top their own Bloody Mary made with Reyka Vodka and Walker's Southern Bloody Mary Mix to their liking at the DIY Bloody Mary garnish bar. Local artist Alanna Royale spun tunes, Nashville Smile Bar provided the photo booth fun, and Twisted for Sugar Nashville offered up delicious cotton candy sweet treats in both vanilla and watermelon flavors.
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales benefited Patchwork, a Nashville-based nonprofit formed by a group of chefs with the mission to empower the community through providing meals, mentorship, and mutual aid to work towards a more equitable food industry.
A special thanks to this year’s sponsors including Reyka Vodka, Walker's Southern Bloody Mary Mix, Fallyn Apartments, and Hotel Fraye.
