A city known for its entertainment scene, Nashville was an obvious choice for Topgolf's latest endeavor. Topgolf Nashville, tucked on the east bank of the Cumberland River, opened September 22, bringing Music City a high-tech driving range and top-notch culinary program to match.
The 65,000-square foot space is three stories tall, comprising 100-plus temperature-controlled golf bays, a 215-yard outfield, a full-service restaurant, five bars, and, fittingly, the company's first dedicated music venue, Topgolf Live. (Starting on a high note, country music star Darius Rucker celebrated his eighth No. 1 single, "If I Told You," with the venue's first private event.)
In order to play, you'll pay a $5, one-time membership fee and an hourly rate per bay. The bays are comfortable, complete with HD TVs, couches, and tables for entertaining, and they can accommodate up to six people at a time. Each bay is equipped with nine point-scoring games, and each player has 20 shots per game. In the outfield, targets are measured by color and distance, and balls are tracked using Topgolf's microchip technology, which allows you to seeand scoreaccordingly.
More than just a driving range, though, Topgolf Nashville is fun for all agesespecially when it comes to the menu.
'The idea behind our menu, right now, is that it's something for everybody,” says chef Seve Delgado, Topgolf's Director of Culinary Operations. 'Topgolf food is familiar favorites with a twist.”
In planning for Topgolf Nashville, Delgado sampled fare from 17 local restaurants, resulting in menu items like the Three Dog Flight, a trio of mini hotdogs, the jalapeño-pickle-marinated Chicken Biscuit, slathered in pepper jelly and goat cheese, and the melt-in-your-mouth Pork ‘N' Pimento sandwich. For the health-conscious, there are lighter dishes, too, like the Kale Caesar and the Apple Bleu Bibb salads.
So, whether you want to take a swing or just share a meal, Topgolf Nashville is sure to be a hit.
