The Hermitage
Check off a summer bucket-list item with a visit to The Hermitage, home of the 7th President. This 1,120-acre National Historic Landmark is where generations of the Jackson family lived. Open to the public as a museum since 1889, more than 230,000 people visit each year to get a glimpse into 19th- century Southern life.
