As temperatures dip, Bode Nashville will debut the Christmas-themed pop up bar, Sippin’ Santa. The bar includes tinsel-strewn décor, baubles galore, and festive cocktails. Not to mention an Ugly Sweater Party on December 2 that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit while you sip some spirits.
GLOW | November 22-December 31
First Tennessee Park will transform into the newest, must-see holiday attraction in the Southeast, GLOW. Featuring one of the country’s tallest Christmas trees, more than 4 million lights adorning larger-than-life sculptures, over-the-top ice skating and snow tubing, Santa’s workshop and much more, Glow is sure to be one of Nashville’s brightest Christmas experiences.
Zoolumination: Chinese Festival of Lights | November 15-February 2
See the Nashville Zoo in a whole new light and enjoy the country’s largest Chinese lantern festival at Zoolumination. Over 500 custom-made silk lanterns, spread across 60 acres, will create elaborate displays of some of your favorite zoo animals and holiday-themed scenes.
Gaylord Opryland Resort’s Country Christmas | November 8-January 1
A Country Christmas is back at Gaylord Opryland Resort for its 36th year. The annual Christmas celebration includes beloved holiday traditions such as ICE!, Pinetop, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, and The Gift of Christmas with Trace Adkins and Friends. Featuring 3 million holiday lights, 15 miles of Garland, and over 2 million pounds of ice, this is sure to be Gaylord’s biggest Christmas celebration yet.
Dream Nashville's Gingerbread Bar | December 1-December 29
Dream Nashville's signature cocktail bar, Parlour Bar, has transformed into a booze-infused gingerbread house for the holiday season. From now until December 29, the festive bar will be open daily at 5 p.m. with features including an edible gingerbread cookie wall, specialty menu of seasonal baked goods and tapas-style savory items, and a selection of holiday cocktails. Guests who attend the unconventional gingerbread house are invited to eat an edible ornament cookie off the tree, snap a photo with the life-size Gingerbread Bartender and enjoy a display of snow on N. 4th Street. Plus, a complimentary hot chocolate bar will be set up on weekdays from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Breakfast with Santa at Union Station Hotel | December 15
Santa is making a special stop at the historic Union Station Hotel for a family-friendly holiday brunch event. Breakfast with Santa, which is $35 for adults (Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and other brunch cocktails can be purchased separately) and free for children age 10 and under, will take place in the grand lobby of the hotel. The event will feature a seasonal buffet of breakfast and brunch favorites along with an arts & crafts activity for kids, live music and the opportunity to meet and have pictures with Santa. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the property's holiday toy drive.
Sip Holiday Cocktails at L.A. Jackson | December 1-December 31
Rooftop hotspot L.A. Jackson is introducing an array of holiday cocktails just in time for the holiday season. Imbibers can enjoy cocktails like the Melted Snowman, Sleigh My Name, Sleigh My Name, and Little Full, Lotta Sap. Guests are encouraged to wear their best holiday outfits because in true Gulch mural fashion, L.A. Jackson will have a massive Christmas themed mural by artist ForBecks.
