In honor of the Barbie movie premiere, the whiskey company is sharing a pink drink recipe (courtesy of Alyson Brown) called the Honeysuckle Slushie. Here's how to make it:
- 3 oz Standard Proof Honeysuckle Rye
- 4 oz Hibiscus Limeade
- A few handfuls of ice
- Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour into glasses and garnish with a lime wheel
To make the Hibiscus Limeade:
- 1 cup lime juice
- 1 cup rich simple syrup
- 5 cups water
- 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
- In a large jar, pour room temp water over dried hibiscus flowers
- Swirl to infuse. Then strain the hibiscus-infused water into a clean jar
- Stir in lime juice and rich simple syrup
- Store in the refrigerator for one week
