Founded in 2013 by ovarian cancer survivor and advocate, Marci Houff, Chic Awearness, is back for its tenth year.
The event features a lively fashion show which raises important research funds through a direct collaboration with Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, gourmet bites, cocktails, and a live and silent auction. Taking place on September 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the W Nashville, the event will also include a special performance by George Thorogood, as he receives the Courage Award on behalf of his late wife, Marla.
Additionally, Chic Awearness is hosting Chic Week, where local retailers will be donating a percentage of sales the week of September 10 to Chic Awearness!
To date, Chic Awearness has raised more then $750,000 for local ovarian cancer awareness, support, and research at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
