The last day of summer is quickly approaching, and as much as we hate to see another summer come and go, we're already making room in our closets to usher in new fall fashion.
Just in time for the new season, we asked country music artist Russell Dickerson to share his must-have pieces for fall 2020. From flannels and boots to denim jackets and vintage tees, here are six of the singer/songwriter's fashion staples going into the autumnal season.
Flannels
As many flannels as possible! I wear flannels every single day of fall. On stage, I usually cut the sleeves short and roll 'em up. And for casual, I just like them as big as possible.
Thread Co. Basic Tees
Thread Co. is the best basic tee I’ve ever put on my body. I have the slim fit with a +2 length. They’re perfect to wear underneath flannels!
Timberlands
I had not worn a pair of Timberlands in a while, but for some reason after the Chelsea boot had run its course, I wanted something a little more masculine. I kind of went on a Timberland spree and bought probably over six pairs. The classic, a lighter leather, navy, hunter green, black, and a few others. Like the flannel, I wear them on and off stage pretty much everyday.

I have a few colors, but the black denim is for sure my go to. Again, it's a piece I can rock on and off stage!
Vintage Country Tees
I can always count on Music City Vintage to come through with a really cool vintage Brooks & Dunn or Joe Diffie tee.
Carhartt Beanies
Once it really starts cooling off, it's time to bust out all the Carhartt beanies! I went a little crazy on these too, but I think my favorite is the neon yellow beanie. It's just obnoxiously loud but hey, sometimes so am I!
