A hot new haunt has arrived in East Nashville that captures all the personality and charm of the city it calls home: Waymore’s Guest House and Casual Club.
Occupying the former home of the previous Field House Jones building on Main Street, the newly opened Waymore’s Guest House and Casual Club is a welcome addition to a community that celebrates the artists, musicians, and creatives who makes the neighborhood so beloved with an atmosphere and offerings that match the authenticity for which Music City is known.
“Waymore’s is for the traveler that wants to get into the soul of where the city grew from and what it really represents. East Nashville is the gateway to Nashville as a whole. There’s nothing else of this caliber on this side of town, as Waymore’s functions as a hotel with multiple food and beverage outlets and an on-site event venue,” says Ousmane Diop, general manager.
Featuring 93 guest rooms, 15 suites, and a variety of bunkrooms, Waymore’s provides plenty of options for a cozy, homey stay with all the luxuries of modern amenities. Designed to feel like a local haven, each room boasts gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows, a luxe walk-in shower, individual climate control, and a conventional workspace with complimentary high-speed Internet. Premiere rooms and suites may also include additional seating areas, a mini-fridge and microwave, and sweeping views of the Nashville skyline. And no need to leave the furry friends back at home: Pets can join in on the fun too as the hotel is pet-friendly for a nightly fee.
From bold colors and eclectic décor to rich materials and unique artwork, intentional design and careful attention to detail are apparent throughout the hotel. Whether you’re winding down in your room for the night or socializing in the common spaces, Waymore’s invites guests to soak up good times and good vibes brought to life through its unique design.
“We worked with Nashville-based Dryden Architecture and Design on the interior design. Our vision was to create a comfortable East Nashville living room where creatives can gather, be inspired, and connect with friends, old and new. The building itself feels quite industrial, so the design contains a lot of funky, bold pieces and warm wood mill work that give it a retro-warehouse-party feel. Additionally, there is no shortage of comfortable lounge vignettes, as Waymore’s is a place designed for kicking up your feet and staying awhile,” Diop says.
In the coming months, the property will also feature lively public spaces for both hotel guests and locals including a ground- floor bar, café, restaurant, retail space, and rooftop bar and lounge.

“The Terrace is a casual, tucked away lounge area, meant for kicking back with a drink while enjoying Nashville’s temperate days. The rooftop bar, which will be called Tall Tales, is a down-home decadence with the best skyline views in town. Casual Club will be true to its name: an event venue and community space to gather, co-work, listen to music, play music, and host programming that is for and by the creatives of East Nashville. These spaces will be open to the public,” explains Diop.
Although Waymore’s provides an opportunity for out-of-towners to immerse themselves in the spirit of the city, the hotel is also a place where locals can feel right at home, because at the heart of the property’s design and offerings is the community that welcomed Waymore’s as a piece of its fabric for years to come.
“East Nashville is home to a collective group of creative folks, living in a creative city. Our goal is to provide a space that is a blank canvas for them,” says Diop. “First and foremost, we sought to build a space where locals feel comfortable, knowing it’s their spot and that we are continually evolving to move it forward.”
