Linking Arms for Change, Wednesday, March 27 from 5-5:50p.m.
Voices for a Safer Tennessee, a nonpartisan coalition dedicated to prioritizing firearm safety, will hold the second “Linking Arms for Change” human chain event at 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 27. Wear red and link arms with your community as we mark the one-year anniversary of The Covenant School shooting. Together we will honor the memory of the six Covenant victims and the hundreds of Tennessee lives lost to preventable firearm tragedies over the last year. Our goal is to form a chain of 13,000 people from Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt through Centennial Park and up Charlotte Avenue to our state capitol. A programming stage will be housed at Musician’s Corner in Centennial Park. Once registered, you will receive more information on where to report on the linking arms route.
