Kent Blazy has written numerous songs recorded by Country Music Hall of Fame member Garth Brooks — including the hits “Ain’t Going Down (‘Til the Sun Comes Up),” “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” “She’s Gonna Make It” and “Somewhere Other Than the Night”— as well as “All the Women I Am” (Country Music Hall of Fame member Reba McEntire), “Headed for a Heartache” (Gary Morris) and songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Terri Clark, Diamond Rio, Randy Houser, Jon Pardi and Country Music Hall of Fame member Patty Loveless. Cory Batten has written “The Call” (Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood), “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” (Blake Shelton) and songs recorded by Love and Theft, Rhonda Vincent and Clay Walker. Together, Blazy and Batten co-wrote Chris Young’s #1 hit “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song).”
