Tennessee Art League Presents the “Flora and Fauna” Exhibit at the Gordon Jewish Community Center
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Art League (TAL), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the visual arts in Nashville and beyond, is proud to announce its upcoming members exhibit, “Flora and Fauna”, at the Gordon Jewish Community Center (GJCC).
The exhibit will feature artworks by TAL members that explore the themes of nature, wildlife, plants, and flowers. The artists will showcase their diverse styles and mediums, from painting and photography to sculpture and mixed media. The exhibit aims to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the natural world, as well as its challenges and threats.
The exhibit will open with a reception on Monday, August 9, from 6pm to 8pm at the GJCC, located at 801 Percy Warner Blvd, Nashville TN, 37205. The reception will be free and open to the public, and will offer an opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments. The exhibit will be on display at the GJCC until the end of August.
The Tennessee Art League was founded in 1954 by a group of local artists who wanted to create a supportive and collaborative community for themselves and other artists in the area. Since then, TAL has grown to include hundreds of members and offers a variety of programs and services, such as exhibitions, workshops, classes, networking events, and community outreach. TAL’s mission is to foster art appreciation and participation among artists and patrons of all ages and backgrounds.
