Dancing for Safe Haven is scheduled for May 4, 2024
Some of Nashville’s brightest business leaders and stars are hitting the dance floor to raise money for families experiencing homelessness on Saturday, May 4, at the 15th annual Dancing for Safe Haven Family Shelter event.
“Dancing for Safe Haven is a cherished tradition that connects the community to our mission to house, support, empower and advocate for families experiencing homelessness,” said Drew Freeman, CEO of Safe Haven. “We are grateful to our star dancers who are not only getting ready to take the dance floor but who are also making it possible for us to serve families in our community.”

• Nicole West, vice president internal audit, Community Health Systems
Dancing for Safe Haven is a fun-filled evening featuring a lively dance competition among these Nashville notables, dinner, silent auction and more. This year’s event will be at the Omni Nashville Downtown and is co-chaired by Harry L. Allen, Tonya Mitchem Grindon and Beth Witte. Hosts are Danielle Breezy and Tom Riles and Hugh Howser will be this year’s backstage correspondent.
Each dancer is paired with professional instructors from The Ballroom of Nashville to compete for fundraising favorite, audience favorite and judges’ favorite. Fans can vote for their favorite dancer online with every $1 donated equaling one vote. Past Dancing for Safe Haven star dancers Heather Byrd and Josh Mundy and Nashville Ballet’s Shabaz Ujima are this year’s judges.
