Ten years after their debut album collaboration, Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill and Paul Franklin have again joined forces to pay tribute to a giant in country music with their new album, Sweet Memories: The Music of Ray Price & The Cherokee Cowboys. The 11-track collection finds Gill — winner of 22 Grammys — and Franklin, who is among the world’s premier steel guitarists, digging deep into the repertoire of Country Music Hall of Fame member Price and his storied band. The museum’s writer-editor Dave Paulson will lead a conversation with Gill and Franklin about the album, its top-tier players and Price’s enduring legacy.
