ARTVILLE is a three-day event connecting the Nashville community through a series of art installations and experiences throughout the Wedgewood Houston and Chestnut Hill neighborhoods of South Nashville—a hub for the arts, design, entertainment, culinary experiences and much more. Its inaugural event is slated for September 29 - October 1, 2023.
ARTVILLE has four core programming initiatives:
PUBLIC ART INSTALLATIONS
Curated to include both local Nashville artists as well as nationally recognized artists, ARTVILLE will fund up to ten public art installations and murals which will all reside within the Wedgewood Houston and Chestnut Hill neighborhoods of South Nashville.
AMERICAN ARTISAN @ ARTVILLE
Shifting from its long-standing location in Centennial Park, this nationally recognized retail fine art and craft event will relaunch in conjunction with the festival featuring over 125 high-quality fine-art, craft, furniture and mixed-media artists exhibiting throughout the neighborhood.
NASHVILLE’S (LARGEST) COMMUNITY ART SHOW
Artists of all ages and backgrounds are invited to apply to show works in Nashville's largest community art show. The works will be displayed throughout the ARTVILLE weekend and available for sale at the show.
ARTVILLE AFTER DARK
Nashville will come alive at night with ARTVILLE After Dark, a series of night-time events focused on bringing art to life.
