Flatland Cavalry
Texas sextet Flatland Cavalry burst onto the scene in 2016 with their debut album Humble Folks and have been rising through the country ranks ever since. Steeped in their Texas roots, the band (bandleader and chief lyricist Cleto Cordero, guitarist Reid Dillon, bassist Jonathan Saenz, drummer Jason Albers, fiddle player Wesley Hall, and utility instrumentalist Adam Gallegos) is known for their electric live performances and a catalog of masterfully written earnest lyrics and stunning instrumentals that have amassed them a steadfast and true fanbase. Their latest album, Wandering Star, was released last fall on Interscope and their song “Wool” was featured on the wildly anticipated soundtrack for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The band will continue their tour through 2024 with headlining shows at some of the most iconic venues, including a February 10 stop at the Ryman. (flatlandcavalry.com)
