In a press release on Monday, February 8, it was announced that Franklin-based eatery The Rutledge has landed the coveted 1st Ave. ground floor restaurant space at the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences.
Founded by brothers Mason and Curt Revelette, The Rutledge opened its first location in Franklin, TN in early 2019, and thanks to its modern approach to classic favorites and sophisticated, upbeat vibe, quickly became a local staple. For its second iteration, The Rutledge will occupy 13,000 square-feet of space on the hotel's ground floor in downtown Nashville, across from a scenic park and the Cumberland River. The eatery will operate independently of the hotel and will be joined by a Four Seasons run restaurant and bar.
“Opening The Rutledge at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville is what we’ve been building towards our whole careers,” said Mason and Curt Revelette. “It is a dream come true to be from here and to have the opportunity to welcome guests within what will be one of the iconic buildings that forever changes the Nashville skyline. The space we are creating will live up to the lofty expectations of our community, approachable and elegant – we can’t wait to get going.”
On The Rutledge's modern American menu, guests will find an array of fresh seafood, salads, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as a premium selection of steaks including filet mignon, ribeye, and roasted prime rib. Diners will also be impressed by the restaurant's carefully curated wine list that includes high-end options available by both the glass and bottle.
As with its Franklin location, fine art will be central to The Rutledge Four Seasons experience with the menu paying homage to various original works that can be found throughout the restaurant.
“Art will again be a focal point for The Rutledge,” said Mason Revelette. “Downtown Nashville has a vibrant art history, and our space will be an extension of the inspiring creativity Music City is known for.”
Slated to open in early 2022, The Rutledge plans to creatively program its offerings, with special occasions that appeal to the downtown office worker, nearby residents, and downtown visitors alike.
