Lucky Rabbit Candy Shop is opening on October 21 in East Nashville.
Co-owners Allison Holley of Apple & Oak and Camille Alston of N.B. Goods dreamt up the nostalgic and approachable concept. The micro shop corner store offers classic and current pre-packaged candy and sodas.
"My parents owned a candy shop when I was little, so I grew up helping them in the store, it's in my DNA”, says Holley. “We wanted to create something that will add to the community and shopping center that is fun for all ages. This is everything from your childhood you know and love, nothing fancy."
In addition to seasonal favorites and local Nashville sweets, the brightly painted 240-square-foot space also offers a variety of merch, foreign sodas, and nostalgic candy that you can't find elsewhere in Nashville. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available for purchase. Lucky Rabbit Candy Shop is located at 703 Porter Road and will operate daily starting at 11 a.m.
"Everyone has a candy memory, and our goal is to create a timeless and accessible shop that will trigger core memories,” says Alston. “We want people to come in and show their kids candy they had growing up in their childhood. It's going to be multi-generational fun and we hope that people of all ages enjoy exploring it."
