Le Loup, a new cocktail lounge from Ford Fry and the team behind The Optimist, is now open in Germantown.
Le Loup, meaning “the wolf,” transports guests into a vintage-inspired, craft cocktail destination that fully leans into its moody-yet-luxe persona by offering exceptional classic cocktails. It is the perfect spot for a pre-meal cocktail, post-meal nightcap, or a welcoming place that stands on its own.
With an expansive menu of more than fifty cocktails, including originals, classics, forgotten classics, and tributes, the menu has something for cocktail enthusiasts and novices alike... from stirred to shaken, fizzy to bottled, the selection of cocktails (some even prepared by way of a cocktail cart table-side) showcases something for everyone.
“We are excited to introduce an elevated beverage program and luxe experience here at Le Loup,” says Ford Fry. “In this timeless and luxurious space, our aim is to become the destination for cocktails in Nashville. It’s about classically inspired cocktails done with over-the-top flair. The ice-cold oysters add a final touch of luxury.”
Located directly above The Optimist, Le Loup is the hidden gem of Fry’s Nashville trio. A custom underwater mural by artist Rebecca Green Illustration sets the tone for an intimate and luxe space with lounge flair and is complemented by rich, immersive and colorful accents. Exotic green marble splashes across the dimly lit bar, a vintage stone mantel centerpiece takes center stage, and warm, comfortable fireside seating sets the mood for imbibing and light bites.
The menu features decadent snacks including deep water oysters and a variety of sea fare (think: sea creatures like spot prawns and razor clams) followed by house favorites like the classic smoked fish dip with crackers, raclette-laced house tots, scallop crud, and foie gras and duck liver parfait.
