JamBox Sandwich Shop is opening in Fait la Force Brewing on June 19.
Shane Nasby, the industry veteran behind Cledis Burgers & Beer Garden, and operating partner Tyler Lechtanski, have teamed up with the Wedgewood-Houston brewery to offer guests a selection of creatively handcrafted sandwiches.
“I’m really excited about this concept,” says Nasby. “It's been an idea for a while, and now we have an awesome partnership and team to bring it to life. I’ve always been a fan of Fait la Force, both the brewery and the people, and it’s a natural fit for us to roll out this sandwich concept in a way that will complement their stellar beer.”
Nasby created the menu for JamBox which will consist of ten sandwiches, each topped with a sweet or savory signature jam, with additional sandwich offerings rotating regularly. Each sandwich is named for a popular song, or “jam”, from the 80s and 90s. The menu will be rotate, with the opening menu including the Orange Crush, topped with chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, bacon, boom boom slaw, crispy wontons, and orange marmalade jam and the Kool Moe Dee with Black Forest ham, white American cheese, bacon, fresh mint leaves, and apple butter jam.
“We’re seeing a trend of local restaurants opening concepts in local breweries,” says Parker Loudermilk, co-owner and founder of Fait la Force. “When we talked about this opportunity with Shane and Tyler, we knew it would be the perfect fit. We’re all passionate about delivering the best experience for customers while giving back and investing in our community.”
JamBox Sandwich Shop is located within Fait la Force Brewing, and is open starting June 19 every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m., and Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Offsite catering for groups of all sizes will be available upon opening.
