Kyle and I love a date night at City House in Germantown. We love the quaint atmosphere, and the food is some of the best in town. We always get the octopus as an appetizer and the belly ham pizza with an egg on top.
We also love Treehouse! We like to venture out to other parts of Nashville and love how it’s tucked away in East Nashville with cool, walkable bars all around. We’ll sit at the bar and watch chef Jason Zygmont whip up the most unique dishes while he talks to us from the kitchen.
We’ll also go to Merchants for a fun night downtown, or DeSano Pizzeria for a more casual dinner spot. (With Kyle being Italian, we’re all in for pizza made with all fresh, imported Italian ingredients!)

Our go-to date spot is Rolf & Daughters, because that’s where we went for our first date! We love this spot because there’s a pretty patio with lights outside and a super unique menu. However, when we go, we always end up ordering the same thing—the lemon garlic chicken and the garganelli verde. I promise they're both so, so worth every single calorie!
We normally go to Virago to celebrate a Preds win, since it’s open late and close to the rink. Or, even better, we’ll order something to go and hang out at home with our dog, Kingsley (@kingstagram_17). He’s a huge Preds fan!

Truly being with someone you love and enjoy spending time with is the perfect date!
For us, Barry’s Bootcamp in the Gulch is a fun workout place we love to do together. A class there gets your blood pumping! Then, we’re ready for a little evening pregame at Old Glory in Edgehill Village. Love the boiler room feel of that place and the great drinks. We also recently discovered The Trolley at Germantown Depot, which is a very cool trolley car bar—think pedal tavern but indoor, larger, stationary, and rarely out-of-town bachelorette parties on board. (Wink, wink!) I like vodka or tequila; Trea likes whiskey or rum, although we start in easy.
Next, 5th & Taylor was our first Nashville date, so that restaurant means a lot to us. I tell everyone how much I love the food there! We also dig the sesame ribeye bowl at bartaco, which pairs well with their outstanding margaritas.
To wrap up (and depending on our energy level), we love to party at Play Dance Bar. I know it may be predictable for a gay couple to do, but our straight friends love Play, too! It’s always an electric, over-the-top good time in there.
Although these spots are our top picks, we have a good time wherever we go together!

We love a good date night, and being in Nashville, there are so many great options. Seeing how we both enjoy different things, there’s always something for both of us to enjoy. City Winery is a great option for us. Wine and music? Yes, please!
Newer Nashville spots we enjoy would be Bastion and Old Glory, and Virago has always been one of our favorite spots to go for dinner. Seeing how Kaitlyn comes from the West Coast, she loves her sushi, and there are lots of healthy options for me. It’s always a great atmosphere and a fun time!
We love to be active during the day, so going on a hike with our dog, Tucker (@tuckerdoodledog), at Percy Warner is beautiful, and it gives us a chance to shut off our phones. And, When we’re feeling super romantic, we take a blanket out to Arrington Vineyards. They have live music some nights, too, and it’s a beautiful spot to get out of the city and enjoy something different.
