Nashville restaurateur Shane Nasby, the chef and owner behind Cledis Burgers & Beer Garden, is opening a second location this fall in the Bellevue West shopping center.
The new location, Cledis Burgers & Beer, will draw inspiration from the original Elm Hill Pike location, while adding an extended food and beverage menu, a selection of beer, wine, and liquor, and a nostalgic and playful interior with heavy 80s and 90s inspiration.
“My wife Angela and I are thrilled to bring this restaurant that means so much to us to Bellevue, the community that we’ve called home for more than twelve years,” says Nasby. “We love this part of Nashville, and we’re excited to open another outpost of Cledis here to create a great family-friendly spot for our friends and neighbors to enjoy. Our goal in everything we do is to give back, and opening another location gives us even more opportunities to serve our community.”
At Cledis Burgers & Beer, guests can expect to see a similar menu of the signature smash burgers like the Billy Berry Smash topped with grilled onions, goat cheese, and a strawberry jalapeño jam, the Morning Deets piled high with American cheese, crispy bacon, a fried egg, a hash brown, mayo, and ketchup, or the traditional Oklahoma Smash with grilled onions, American cheese, pickles, and Cledis sauce. The menu will also include sandwiches, wings, and loaded fries, alongside new dishes and an extended drink menu.
The theme of childhood nostalgia will be present throughout the space with an impressive collection of 80s and 90s toys, action figures, pop culture collectibles, music, and more. There will also be an area for live music.
Cledis is named after Shane’s late grandfather, who was a positive influence in his life and instilled the importance of kindness, generosity, and loving your community. Growing up next door, Shane would help Cledis in his garden, providing food for their family and sharing with neighbors when they could. Proudly partnering with People Loving Nashville, the Cledis team donates their time and food to provide monthly meals for the unhoused community of Nashville. Since opening their doors, they have donated more than 5,000 meals.
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner and is located at 7648 Hwy 70 S.
