Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer is opening on May 10 at 140 3rd Avenue North in Downtown Nashville.
The restaurant will serve mouth-watering burgers that are flipped only once on a griddle (never a grill!), and are then layered with two slices of cheese and served on a potato roll with lettuce, tomato, and a pickle on the side; a lengthy beer list with classics to seasonal selections and limited-edition Black Tap brews; and outrageous CrazyShakes®, a milkshake loaded with crazy toppings to create an epic, over-the-top dessert.
“We are bringing Black Tap’s classic favorites and adding a few items that give a reverent nod to Nashville,” says Stephen Parker, Black Tap’s corporate executive chef. "We cannot wait for guests to taste our mouthwatering Tennessee Burger and experience our Black Tap-style tribute to Nashville hot with our mix of Asian chilis, Italian spices, and a fermented black garlic hot rub.”
The Tennessee Burger, exclusively available at Black Tap Nashville, is made of prime beef, Jack Daniel’s red pepper jam, diced pickles, Dirty® sweet potato chips, white BBQ sauce, and chopped parsley. Other menu items includes the Black Tap Hot Chicken Sandwich, Hot Chili Fried Pickles, and more. On the sweet side, CrazyShake® milkshake flavors like the CakeShake®, Strawberry Shortcake, The Peanut Brittle Cracker Jack Shake, and the Bam Bam Shake featuring Fruity Pebbles, will be available.
In addition to burgers and over-the-top CrazyShake® milkshakes, beverage director Christian Orlando and his team will create one-of-a-kind concoctions and visually exciting riffs on classic cocktails. Black Tap will also launch Shake Shots. The boozy mini-milkshake debut will be the CakeShake® Shot with a rotating selection of Shake Shots featured each month. (blacktap.com)
