Born and raised in one of the most dynamic cities in Southeast Asia, co-founders Huy Vo and Han Tran are showcasing Saigonese food and culture with their latest concept in Nashville, Bahn Mi and Roll+.
Vo has called Nashville home since 2003 and has over 10 years of culinary experience, operating local concepts including Far East Nashville, Love Peace & Pho, and the Banh Mi & Roll Factory Food Truck.
“As we celebrate the 5th anniversary of our food truck, we are excited to transition the success of Banh Mi and Roll Factory Food Truck to Banh Mi and Roll+, a fast-casual restaurant and bar in the vibrant Hillsboro Village neighborhood,” said Han Tran, co-founder of Banh Mi and Roll Factory.
Located in the bustling Hillsboro Village neighborhood, Bahn Mi and Roll+ will serve a wide selection of Vietnamese favorites including the Saigonese Banh Mi, BBQ Pork Banh Mi, 5-Spices Chicken Banh Mi, Soy Braised Tofu Banh Mi, Xiu Mai (Meatball) Banh Mi, the Lotus Root Salad, fresh Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon), and Vermicelli Noodle Bowls.

The Plus (+) in the restaurant's name represents the new line of quality powder-free Boba Teas. These trendy teas are handpicked and imported from Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam, which traditionally consist of flavored iced tea with chewy tapioca balls and other various toppings. This latest drink craze encouraged co-owner, Mai Lai, to travel throughout Asia choosing high quality teas and developing a unique recipe comprised of fresh, natural, homemade ingredients.
Bahn Mi and Roll+ is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (subject to change). To celebrate their official grand opening, the eatery will be donating up to 15 percent of sales to Nashville Food Project on Friday, Nov. 20.
