Rather than resolving to start the year with kale and smoothies, why not make a more decadent proclamation? A warm, creamy appetizer is a cozy way to kick off 2022—and shake off the winter doldrums. Our pick? The Warm Crab Dip from Stateside Kitchen.
Packed with flavor and layered with rich cheeses, super lump crabmeat, and zesty Old Bay, this recipe is perfect for a New Year cocktail party crowd or a lazy Sunday party of one. And it’s such a hit with the Stateside crowd that executive chef Liron Eisenberg has added a similar second option to the restaurant’s menu.
“This dish is an elevated take on an American classic with our Southern twist which makes this one of Stateside Kitchen’s most popular dishes,” Eisenberg says. “With the success of the Warm Crab Dip, we have introduced our Spinach Artichoke Dip to complement it, providing an option for our vegetarian clientele.”
And whether you choose to crab or not to crab, don’t forget the crusty bread for dipping!
