Equal parts workshop, showroom, and creative co-working studio, 1767's new outpost offers much-needed space for the growing design company12,000 square feet, to be exact.
'People love to see the woodworking process, but there's also been a huge need for a space like this,” owner Patrick Hayes says. 'Here, we can showcase more than just reclaimed artwork, things, like furniture, décor items, and other brands that fit with our aesthetic overall.”
Those brands include Lockeland Leatherworks and Sweet Farm Jewelry, both of which operate out of 1767's studio. Plus, there are rugs, plants, and vintage chairs, all arranged throughout the space and available for purchase.
For Hayes, the showroom brings an opportunity to better engage with the Nashville community, too. 'The goal for the showroom is to interface with people, meet our customers face-to-face, and build those relationships,” he says. 'We really see it as a space to continue to grow and become an integral part of the neighborhood.”
What's next for 1767? In addition to more industrial and full-scale design projects, they've got workshops and community-building events to come.
