Christopher Peacock began his cabinetry career in the early eighties, working at Terence Conran’s furniture store in London.
Since launching Christopher Peacock Cabinetry in 1992, beginning with a kitchen display in a small store in Greenwich, Connecticut, he has expanded his empire to include showrooms throughout the U.S. and Europe, with locations in Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, New York City, and more, plus international shops in Cannes and Cote D’Azur.
Starting with raw lumber, Peacock cabinets utilize hand-selected timbers and proper joinery techniques. With luxe finishes, intricate details, exquisite materials, and a keen eye for detail, it’s easy to see why Peacock has become one of the most respected (and coveted) names in cabinetry.
“Our company and brand are recognized as the ultimate in luxury cabinetry design, gracing beautiful homes in the United States and internationally,” says Christopher Peacock. “I have designed and installed rooms of cabinetry for U.S. presidents, as well as many other celebrity and notable clients. Most importantly, I am proud to say that we design and make our own cabinetry in West Virginia, and we are 100 percent Made in America.”

Now with a new showroom at the Nashville Design Collective, Peacock, who has long worked with clients in Nashville remotely, has even more of a presence in Music City.
“We have been working in and around Nashville for some time, and I have always loved the surrounding countryside and the homes and architecture,” he says. “We believe the clientele to be very sophisticated and well-traveled, and our brand will be familiar to some of them but, we also hope and expect to break into a new market and a wider audience.”
One such project will put his work center stage.
“We are very excited about our new project at The Manning at Belle Meade, which is a very exclusive and upscale development,” says Peacock, who will design custom kitchens for 31 units in the forthcoming luxury development.
It’s a project that suits Peacock’s sensibilities and further cements the cabinet designer’s presence in town.
“Nashville is a very dynamic and fast-growing city, and I felt the time was right for the market to embrace our company and products,” he says. “We see a real need for a high-end company to fill the gap at the top end of the market.”
