1. When and how did you meet?
Wirth and I went to the same high school but never officially met until November of 2017. I was living in Atlanta at the time and while Wirth was in town for work, we ran into each other at a bar. Over the next couple of weeks, we exchanged a few texts and calls and Wirth decided on a whim to spend New Years Eve with me and my friends in Atlanta and the rest was history! We dated long distance for 9 months, traveling between Atlanta and Nashville 2-3 times a month, until I moved back to Nashville to be with Wirth in November of 2018. We got engaged that December!
2. Looking back on the day, what is your most vivid memory or cherished moment?
The most memorable moment for both of us on our wedding day was the moment we saw each other for the very first time at the ends of the aisle. We didn't do a 'first look' so seeing each others faces at that moment, surrounded by so many special people, was one we will never forget. As far as the reception goes, we were both blown away with what Jenny and her team did with Belle Meade Country Club. We had never seen it look so gorgeous! Not one inch of the club was left untouched by beautiful draping, greenery, or candles. The tent, where the dance floor was located, was everything we dreamed of and more and had such a magical feel to it.
3. What advice would you give to other brides-to-be?
My advice would be to not sweat the small stuff. I was completely overwhelmed with stress the week of the wedding and looking back, none of it was a big deal. The only thing that matters at the end of the day is the marriage and being surrounded by people who love you and traveled from near and far to celebrate your love. Soak up every single second, it truly goes by in a flash.
