Christ Church Cathedral; One Cannery Row
November 8, 2014
A chance meeting at Midtown's Broadway Brewhouse brought Jessie and Thomas together. The pair hit it off, and after their second date, Jessie knew she'd found the one.
Aside from being the city where Jessie and Thomas met, Nashville holds a special place in their hearts for other reasons, too: Jessie is a Franklin native, and Thomas, a Dallas transplant, fell in love with Music City while attending Vanderbilt University.
After photographs at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the newlyweds' held a classic, comfortable
reception with a distinctly Nashville feel. Neutral flower arrangements and soft lighting let the natural, rustic beauty of One Cannery Row, with its exposed brick walls and high wooden ceilings, shine through.
Guests enjoyed a Southern biscuit bar, complete with hot chicken and all the fixings, followed by a cake from Dulce Desserts. 'I'll never forget Thomas's face when he tasted Juanita Lane's salted caramel filling,” Jessie recalls.
'If Thomas and I could get
married again tomorrow, we
would do it all exactly the same way. It was an unforgettable night made up of all our lives' choices, and I would choose it all again.”
