Bride and groom's home
October 10, 2015
It was only fitting for Laura and TK, who met working in the music business, to get married in Music City. 'We considered a destination wedding, but at the end of the day, nothing beats Nashville,” the bride shares. 'It's our home, and we love it here.”
After exploring other venue options in town, a Pinterest idea inspired Laura to plan the couple's big day in their own backyard. Planner Sara Fried of Fête Nashville brought the bride and groom's vision to life with a color scheme of cream, blush, and gold, and simple décor to complement their stunning Belle Meade home.
When crafting her wedding playlists, Laura scoured Billboard charts for the best love songs she could find, dating all the way back to the ‘50s. Jams like Frankie Valli's 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You” and Stevie Wonder's 'Isn't She Lovely” made the cut. 'Music is so important to both of us, and it really does set the tone for an event,” she says.
