Dr. Timothy McNutt Sr. decided at the age of 10 that he wanted to be a pediatric dentist.
Feeling a “calling” to the profession, he has been caring for the oral health of infants, children, teenagers, and persons with special needs in the heart of Green Hills for over 25 years. His love of patients combined with his unique training to understand a patients’ social and emotional needs provide a positive, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for both patients and their parents.

A Nashville native, Dr. Mc Nutt attended the University of Tennessee, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and the University of Alabama-Birmingham, graduating from each with honors. In addition to being a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Orthodontic Society and an officer in the Tennessee Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, he is also on staff at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
