Sullivan Dental Partners is a fourth-generation dental practice that has been serving the Nashville community since 1970.
Today, with the help and support of their long-term team members, Dr. Rick (Richard Sullivan, III) and Dr. Sully (Richard Sullivan, IV) carry on the tradition of providing dental care that is efficient, gentle, and affordable that originated with Dr. Sully’s grandfather back in 1970.
A unique aspect of Sullivan Dental Partners is they take pride in being a one-stop-shop for all your family’s needs. To do so, they have expanded the practice by adding a third dentist, Dr. Meghana Sthanam, and are also in the process of building a State-of-the-art building next door to their current location that can cater to the needs of Nashville and surrounding areas.
By utilizing state-of-the-art technology and investing in hundreds of hours of continuing education, all three doctors are able to treat you whether it’s routine dental care such as fillings, crowns and cleanings, to many advanced procedures such as dental implants, adult orthodontics, root canals, Pinhole gum treatment, laser gum treatment, and treatment for airway disorders. This allows you to be comfortable with the team you already know, as well as minimize visits and time off work!
They also offer many ways to make procedures more comfortable, including “Raley,” their certified yellow lab therapy dog, as well as virtual reality glasses, and sedation dentistry which allows your mind to drift away during treatment.
Outside of the day to day dentistry, all three doctors are very involved in the community, volunteering at the Brentwood Baptist Bus and Interfaith Dental Clinic, and traveling to Ecuador with dental students from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Rick and Dr. Sully also spend time traveling the country speaking to other dentists on how technology can allow dentists to make treatment more predictable for their patients.
