Who has been the greatest influence in your life?
My mom embodies everything that I want to be in life. She is my soulmate. She is the most compassionate, overly caring, funny, and most humble person you will ever meet. I strive to walk in her steps every day.
What organization are you affiliated with and why is it important to you?
The one that resonated the most with me is Hope For The Day. They are a nonprofit that focuses on mental health and suicide prevention. So many young people struggle day-to-day with anxiety and depression, and it affects how they live their life. Sometimes, it’s a struggle to even find the motivation to get out of bed in the morning. Hope For The Day educates people on how to read these signals, and helps lend a hand to the people that need it the most before it’s too late. For their charity, I’m grateful.
What is your self-care routine?
It’s important for me to stay active in my personal and work life. At work as a bartender, I’m on my feet all day, constantly moving. On my off days, I like to stay active, go for runs, or hit the gym and do cardio. My biggest hobby is line dancing. It has become a lot more advanced in the last five years and challenges me physically, which I love.
