On June 3, guests gathered for the sixty-first annual Swan Ball, a premier charity event and white tie gala benefitting Cheekwood.
This year the ball highlighted the ethereal beauty of Cheekwood Estate and Gardens while carrying on the traditions of the glamorous event. Page and Windrow, a Nashville-based event planning and design company, executed the vision with an elegant garden party, which was inspired by history and Cheekwood’s imposing landscape vista. The design was rooted in nature and bringing the outside in, and featured boxwood arbors, decorative ornamental iron work, stunning balustrades, and stone architecture. In keeping with the elaborate garden theme, tables were set with linens in floral patterns and satin historic embroidery and velvet browns was found throughout, which was complemented by centerpieces of lavenders and growing potted pieces created by local floral designer Alex Vaughn of FLWR.
Guests enjoyed a three-course meal and delicious wine, plus headlining entertainment provided by Idina Menzel.
